Greetings from Beatty Parent Support Group

Our vision is to be the Partner of Choice.  In cohesion with our affiliated associates, School Advisory Committee (SAC) and

Beatty Alumni (BA), we aspire in walking the tripartite partnership journey with the school leaders and staff on a common mission to build a quality institution by bringing out the best in every Beattyian through a quality education.

Since the inception of Beatty PSG in 2004, and over the years, our sense of involvement in the school has evolved from one of partnership to that of a family. This strong relationship shows the high level of commitment in working together for the overall good of the students.  In support of the school’s direction to mould well-rounded Beattyians, we had been given a voice in the students’ educational experience. As parents, this has given us, a key partner, an overwhelming sense of satisfaction.

Through our active involvement in the school’s initiatives, we promote home-school relationship and advocate parents’ participation in school linked activities. 

Leveraging on the SFE (School Family Education) program affiliated with MCYS, we establish the parents’ network by organizing talks, seminars and workshops.  The topics evolve on subject matter ranging from parental tips, training students with life skills to assisting school staff in enhancing their family life.  We aim to promote a holistic family learning model via the SFE framework.

As Chairperson of the PSG, I strongly urge parents to come on board to serve and be involved in their children’s secondaryschool life. As THE CONNECTION between parents and the school, we can support the school in ways that can enhance the education of our children.

It is in serving others that we also receive.
